1. What is UBL OMNI?

UBL OMNI is a new banking system that will enable the customer to open a new UBL Account at UBL assigned retail locations throughout the country as well as any UBL Branch. This account can be operated through any of the agents, UBL Branches, mobile phone, internet or through UBL Call centre.


2. How can I open a new UBL OMNI Account?

You can visit any of the mentioned OMNI Dukaan with the initial deposit amount and your original CNIC. After completing the account opening transaction, the agent will deposit your amount and will provide you a confirmation slip along with printed terms and condition. You can use your account for one debit and one credit transactions during the account activation. Within 24-48 hours, our representative will contact you on your provided mobile number for account activation.


3. How is this account different from my existing UBL Account?

Unlike your conventional UBL account, UBL OMNI account can be operated from any OMNI Duaakns throughout the country and any UBL Branch. Apart from conventional transactions you can now pay your utility and mobile phone bills and also buy mobile phone vouchers using your OMNI Account.


4. How can I access my UBL OMNI Account on my mobile phone?

You can access your UBL OMNI Account through your mobile phone simply by activating the SMS channel on your OMNI Account by calling our contact centre 24 x7 at (021) – 111-825-777

Process of SMS channel activation through call centre is provided as under

i. For customers who have a TPIN of the contact centre
   a. Customer calls the contact centre at (021) – 111-825-777
   b. Selects the language
   c. Presses “2” for services selection
   d. Enters the CNIC and TPIN
   e. Presses “3” for Omni
   f. Presses “0” to speak to the contact centre agent who will activate the SMS banking channel

ii. Customers who do not have a TPIN can talk to any of the contact centre agents and request to talk to any “OMNI”       agent. The agent will activate the SMS banking channel after verification


5. How can I perform different transactions using my mobile phone?

Once you have activated your OMNI Account on your mobile you can use it through the following commands:

i. Command for Mobile Voucher purchase: Type Buy e.g. to buy a voucher of Telenor worth Rs. 100 type” Buy T100 ”.
ii. Command for Utility Bill Payment: Type “Paybill ” e.g. to pay your PTCL bill type ” Paybill 1500 PTCL 170514910003 “.


6. What is the minimum amount required to open a UBL OMNI Account?

Minimum amount required to open UBL OMNI account is Rs. 100.


7. How can I use my OMNI account through internet?

You can use your UBL OMNI account through internet by visiting UBL website www.ubl.com.pk and registering for UBL Online banking using your OMNI Account. User name and password for online banking can also be used to use the account on WAP through mobile phone.

Use the following steps to activate online banking on your OMNI account:

i. Visit the URL www.ubl.com.pk/ebank
ii. Choose new users
iii. If you already have an account with UBL at a Branch and also have a wallet card then you will just need the                following information

 a. Your WALLET card no.
 b. Your registered email address
 c. A verification code
 d. Your ATM PIN

iv. If you only have a UBL Account but no ATM card than you will be required to enter the following information

 a. Your registered email address
 b. Keyword / Mother’s maiden name
 c. Region
 d. Branch Name
 e. Account No.

v. If you only have the UBL OMNI account than select the “Omni” option instead of the normal account from the     address https://www.ubl.com.pk/ebank/login/gs_reg_info.asp and continue to fill the required information

8. How much would I be charged for using all the services?

Most of UBL OMNI services are free for customers. For details on charges on particular transactions visit our schedule of charges.


9. What features are available for the branchless account on IVR?

On IVR you can use the following features for your UBL OMNI Account:
i. Balance inquiry
ii. Listening to last 10 transactions

10. What documents are required to open Level-0 Account??

No documents are required for level-0.


11. What are the pre requisites to open Omni level-0 account?

You must have valid CNIC and a mobile connection

12. Can MNP cell # are also considered for account opening??

Yes, they are but bank will not be responsible if any interruption occurs in the service due to MNP


13. Is it mandatory that the SIM that I am using should be on my name?

Yes

14. What is minimum amount required to open Omni Account?

17. How can open Level-1 account

Visit UBL Omni Dukaan with original CNIC and its copy. Provide your mobile number and fill out the account opening form. Ensure that signature on the form is same as available on CNIC. Agent will initiate level 1 upgrade request and handover a copy of AOF

18. What is the process of activation of IVR service and issuance of Omni PIN?

You will be required to call at our Contact Center at 021-111-825-777. After verification and acceptance of terms and condition call center representative will issue Omni PIN and activate IVR services.

19. What types of accounts does OMNI offer?
