How do I activate my credit card?  
Upon receiving your credit card, call our 24 Hour “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888 to get it activated.  
   
   
How does the reward program work for the UBL PSO Auto Credit Card?  
All UBL PSO Auto Credit Card members are rewarded according to the following criteria:

5% fuel back* on spending at PSO outlets, with a maximum cap of Rs.1,250/-.
1% fuel back on spending at non-PSO outlets, with a maximum cap of Rs.1,000/-.

* 5% fuel back is applicable if the card is charged at a UBL POS terminal at PSO Stations
 
   
   
What does the term “fuel back” mean?  
Fuel back (a reward program in the UBL PSO Auto Credit Card) is the amount of reward, in monetary terms, which you will earn, based on your spending at PSO and non PSO outlets. This reward will only be redeemable at designated PSO outlets in Pakistan.  
   
   
When will I be given 5% fuel back on my UBL PSO Auto Credit Card?  

The reward criteria on your UBL PSO Auto Credit Card allow you to earn 5% fuel back on spending at PSO outlets. However, this 5% fuel back is given only when your UBL PSO Auto Credit Card is swiped at a UBL POS terminal at PSO Stations. In case another POS machine is used at PSO Stations, you will be entitled to only 1% fuel back of the total spend amount.

 
   
   
Where can I redeem my Reward Points?  
Your Reward Points can be redeemed at various PSO outlets in Pakistan. The reward points are redeemable after every billing cycle provided the customer has paid at least the minimum due amount.  
   
   
How do I keep a record of my Reward Points?  
Simply call our “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888 for an update on your Reward Points. You can also use ORIX terminals at selected redemption partner outlets to check the number of Reward Points you have accumulated.  
   
   
Can I redeem my Reward Points outside Pakistan?  
You can only redeem your Reward Points at participating redemption partner outlets in Pakistan.  
   
   
Can I exchange my Reward Points for cash?  

Your accumulated Reward Points cannot be exchanged for cash.

 
   
   
Can my Supplementary Cardmembers earn Reward Points?  
Transactions made on Supplementary cards will earn Reward Points on the Primary Cardmember’s account.  
   
   
What happens to my Reward Points when my credit card is upgraded or downgraded?  
In the event of an upgrade/downgrade, your Reward Points will be transferred to your new UBL Credit Card account.  
   
   
Do I have to pay a fee to participate in the Rewards Program?  
No, there is no fee. You will automatically be enrolled in the Rewards Program if you hold any UBL Credit Card.  
   
   
Do I earn Reward Points for all my transactions?  
You will earn Reward Points on all retail purchases (with applicable cappings) whether you use your Credit Card in Pakistan or abroad.
However, you will not earn Reward Points on markup charges, cash withdrawals, cash advance fees, late payment fees, over limit fees, balance transfer facility, return cheque fees, conversion fees, disputed transactions and insurance cover premiums.
 
   
   
What happens to my Reward Points if I cancel my Credit Card?  
In the event that you cancel your UBL Credit Card, your Reward Points will be forfeited.  
   
   
If my PSO Lubricants’ coupons expire, can I get them renewed?  
The welcome pack of your UBL PSO Auto Credit Card will contain a certain amount of coupons depending on the card that you have applied for and received (Silver cards will contain 3 discount coupons and Gold cards will come with 5 such coupons). These coupons are a one-time offer and will not be renewed or reissued in the future.  
   
   
How many times can I avail the various benefits and discounts that are part of my UBL PSO Auto Credit Card?  
The benefits and discounts that come with your UBL PSO Auto Credit Card are yours to avail forever. So use them as much as you want; whenever you want; there is no time or usage limit on them.  
   
   
How would I know the amount that I have to pay?  
Every month you will receive your credit card statement. Don’t forget to check the following heads:
  Current Balance.
Minimum Payment Amount.
Payment Due Date.
Statement Date.
In case you don’t receive your credit card statement within 6 days from the statement date, kindly call UBL Contact Center at 111-825-888 to find out your outstanding and pay accordingly in order to avoid late fee and service charges.
   
   
   
What if, for any reason, I do not pay the Minimum Payment Amount or the Current Balance by the Payment Due Date?  
Service Fee will be charged as per the prevailing Schedule of Charges on each retail transaction from the transaction date to the statement generation date. Late Fee will be charged as per the prevailing Schedule of Charges. Your credit card account will be blocked effective next statement date if minimum payment is not received.  
   
   
What if I pay the Minimum Payment Amount or any amount less than the full amount (current balance)?  
There would be a Service Fee levied if you pay the Minimum Payment Amount or any amount less than the full payment by the payment due date. For retail transactions which can be covered by the payment, Service Fee is charged from the transaction date to the payment posting date. On retail transactions which are not covered by the payment, Service Fee is charged from the transaction date to the date the next Statement of Account is generated.  
   
   
What if I make full payment?  
For all retail transactions, if full payment is received within the payment due date then no Service Fee is charged.  
   
   
How should I handle a change in my address?  
You can inform us of your new mailing address by simply calling “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888. You can also request for the change by sending a written request to the UBL Card Center (Address given below).  
   
   
What should I do if I encounter problems with my card account?  
If at any time you face any problem regarding your card account, call our 24 Hour “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888 for immediate assistance. You can direct your written queries to the following address:

Who should I contact if I encounter any problem abroad?  
You can seek emergency assistance by lodging a lost/stolen card report or obtaining emergency cash from Visa Emergency Assistance Centers. When traveling, please make sure that you carry the pocket guide for your convenience.  
   
   
What should I do if I lose my credit card?  
In the event that your credit card is lost or stolen, report it to our 24 Hour “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888 immediately. Please also send us a written request within 3 days of the incident, along with the particulars. This will minimize your liability and will protect you against any misuse of the lost card.  
   
   
What if I have a discrepancy/error in my Monthly Statement?  
If you notice any discrepancy in your Monthly Statement, report the matter to our Customer Service Center within 7 days. In order to check statement entries, retain all your sales slips and printed receipts. This will help you keep a record of all your transactions. How much cash can I withdraw?  
You can withdraw as much as 30% of your total credit limit. That is, if your credit limit is Rs.40,000; you can withdraw 30% o f Rs.40,000 being Rs.12,000.
Please note the Bank shall charge Service Fee on each withdrawal from the date of the cash advance until the date of full payment as per the prevailing Schedule of Charges. The Cardmember will also pay a Cash Advance Fee as per the prevailing Schedule of Charges.
 
   
   
How will I be billed if I make a foreign currency transaction with my credit card?  

All non Pak Rupee transactions will be converted from the transaction currency to US Dollars based on the international exchange rate applied by VISA/MasterCard. To settle the foreign spend, the billed US Dollar amount will be purchased from the open market (authorized money changers) by debiting your card account at the prevailing market rate. A handling charge as per UBL’s Schedule of Charges is also applicable.

 
   
   
How do I get my limit enhanced?  
The criteria for limit enhancement* are as follows:
You should have at least 3 months card account relationship with UBL.
Your spending level should be equal to or more than 60% of the credit limit in any of the 3 months preceding enhancement.
There should have been no limit enhancement in the six months preceding the present upgrade
You should have a good credit history on your UBL Credit Card.

Keeping in mind the above criteria, if you are eligible for this enhancement, you can apply for it in the following ways:
Calling our 24 hour “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888.
Sending a written request using the UBL Drop box located in any of our branches. You will need to send your income documents with your request namely copy of CNIC, bank statement / salary slip / salary certificate and proof of employment tenure.
Sending a written request (along with the above mentioned documents) on the following address:

What is an Over Limit Fee?  
Your expenditure on your credit card must remain within the credit limit assigned to you. In case you exceed your credit limit, an Over Limit Fee as per the prevailing Schedule of Charges will be charged each time you exceed your credit limit.  
   
   
What if I don’t want my card, or wish to cancel it?  
If you are dissatisfied with your card or wish to cancel it, kindly call our 24 hour “UBL Contact Center” at 111-825-888 so that our Phone Banker can sort out any queries that you may have regarding your UBL Credit Card.
